Andre Russell and Nicholas Pooran have joined the Trinbago Knight Riders
The Caribbean Premier League’s Trinbago Knight Riders have signed Andre Russell and Nicholas Pooran for the 2022 season. Meanwhile, Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine have been retained by the franchise.
As a result, this will be the first time in the competition that Russell and Pollard will play for the same cricket franchise.
The league’s six clubs revealed their pre-draft retentions and signings for the next season on Monday, with each team having a maximum of seven players.
Teams were permitted to sign two extra local players in the second window. New additions from those who were not retained by other teams, as well as players who played for that team the previous season, might be among them.
All of the other clubs have utilised their entire quota, with the exception of the Guyana Amazon Warriors, who kept six players and the Jamaica Tallawahs, who kept five.
