Jenson Brooksby, 21, addressed Daniil Medvedev after his loss in Miami
American tennis player Janson Brooksby addressed the second racket of the world, Russian Daniil Medvedev, after losing to him in the fourth round of the tournament in Miami (USA). Medvedev defeated the 21-year-old Brooksby 7-5, 6-1.
“Not an easy match today. Congratulations to Daniil Medvedev and I wish him all the best for the rest of the week.
I’ll work out for a few days and go to the tournament in Houston,” Brooksby wrote on social media.
Daniel Medvedev will play against Hubert Hurkacz of Poland in the Miami tournament quarterfinals. If Medvedev defeats Hurkac, he will again take the title of first racket of the world from Novak Djokovic.
