Novak Djokovic named the reason for the break with his long-time coach Marian Vajda
20-time Grand Slam champion, world number one, Serbian Novak Djokovic said why he parted ways with coach Marian Vajda, under whom he worked for 15 years. In March, Djokovic announced that he stopped cooperating with Vajda.
According to Novak, the reason is that Marian simply got tired.
“Marian traveled a lot when he was a player. Then he coached Dominic Hrbata and some other players. Then he spent 15 years with me … He just got tired of all the moving around. That’s the reason,” Tennis World USA quoted Novak Djokovic as saying.
Yesterday on April 24 Djokovic lost to Andrei Rublev of Russia in the final of the Belgrade tournament.
