Rafael Nadal took to the court for the first time since his injury
Twenty-one-time Grand Slam champion and former world number one, Spaniard Rafael Nadal posted a fresh photo on social media. The athlete, who missed several weeks due to injury, said he was out on the court for the first time after a break of four weeks.
“Today after four weeks without going to the tennis court had my first pull-up practice. It’s great to be back on the court!” – he captioned the photo.
In March, Nadal announced he was forced to miss several weeks due to a stress fracture in a rib. The Spaniard won three tournaments in the 2022 season, including the Australian Open. He faced Russian Daniil Medvedev in the final. Nadal managed to win, although he lost the first two sets.
