Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated Yannick Sinner

World No. 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece beat Yannick Sinner in the quarterfinals of the Rome Masters in Italy. Tsitsipas faced Italian Yannick Sinner, the 13th-ranked ATP player. The Greek won the match 7-6 (7-5), 6-2.

Tsitsipas served 10 times and made five double faults. He converted three break points out of six (50 per cent). Sinner had three aces, two doubles and only one break point (17%).

Tsitsipas will play Germany’s Alexander Zverev in the semifinals. The other quarterfinals will be contested by Denis Shapovalov of Canada against Kristian Ruud of Norway and Novak Djokovic of Serbia against Felix Auger-Allassim of Canada. All quarter-finals will be held today, May 13.
